If you have an uncut dash (where the stock radio goes) this plate is designed to clip in and properly fill the hole. Many County and City Trucks back in the day that had no radio option - had these delete plates.

I plan on using one to go behind a cd stereo since most of them when installed you can see a little bit of the round convex or whatever that is put there for the knob hole

you can also use these as a ac.delete.i have seen a few guys do that and it looks good ttt for you
