Me + Figuring out what Camshaft = Irritating...Is there a Solution?

I feel like I'm in math class all over again.

I need some opinions.

I'm looking into upgrading my camshaft on my engine. I'm racking my brain here. Google did not help me. I searched for hours and cant come up with anything.

Here is the problem I'm having. Right now I have a 350 small block, with 302 heads. The compression ratio is 10:1 or slightly lower, and I don't want to throw too big of a cam into the motor, because of fear of blowing the motor if that is at all possible. I just want a little bit more horses coming out of the motor, nothing too extravagant.

So here's the questions. What camshaft should I go with? Do I need more than just the camshaft to do this upgrade? or Should I just leave it alone?

Help!!

Thank you,
CJ

What kinda cam specs are you runnin right now? I assume you want to stay under 500 lift. If the heads are bone stock don't go over 480 lift

I dont know exactly what Im running right now, I know its probably stock specs though because when I had the engine rebuilt I never had them touch the cam, because Im a strong believer that if its not broke dont fix it.
