Looking at another truck
Going to look at this truck tomorrow afternoon.
It supposedly runs and drives and. 68 c-20 250 I6 4spd. He's asking $650. I'll see if it's worth anything. I figure its probably worth at least 5 bills if it does run and drive.

Re: Looking at another truck
Well I looked at this truck today. It is a 68 c-20 with a 292 I6, 4 spd, power steering and thats about it. It does run and drive OK. Engine is really clean for a 40 year old truck. Interior is shot. Body is kinda rough. I think its worth the $500 he said he'd take for it but I don't know if I want it or not. I guess I was hoping for something with some better parts. I may just take the $500 and buy new parts for my truck.

Re: Looking at another truck
500 seems reasonable to me, unless the frame is ready to crumble-

Re: Looking at another truck
Nope. Frame looks really good actually. Still has most of the black paint on it

Re: Looking at another truck
Doesn't look like a bad deal for $500...

Re: Looking at another truck
The power steering unit for a 292 might be worth a couple bucks....
