wheels FOR MY 68 gmc

Hey guys would liek to know the offset for my 68 gmc thinkin of buyin some 20s for it because my old 15 rims rub the control arm would a bigger rim solve that problem ?/

Probably, but you will have to make sure the back space is correct for your application. As far as the proper BS, that will also depend on your application and wheel choice.

Check out the following thread for other members specs on their wheel/tire setup. LINK One recommendation would be to take your truck to a reputable wheel shop in the area and have them help you determine the correct BS. This is something that you will want to take into your own hands as a fellow board member's specs might not work on your truck.

Good luck with the decision, and after you determine what will work, post of your measurements to see what the Veteran's think.

Need more info.

Bigger rims will solve the interference problem but not the cause of the problem. If you don't have drop spindles or extreme positive offset wheels you probably have bad ball joints. Also depending on the height of tires you may run into fender interference issues.

So, what suspension setup do you have and what size tire do you plan to run?

yes i have drop spindals and im planing on gettin 17 inch rims an a bit of a lower profile tires than whats on my 15 inch rims i have now for clearance
