why are their 3-holes for wipers?

Hi. i was wondering why their is 3-spots for the wipers on the 67-72 cabs.and has anyone used the far pass side hole for a more uniform look? i have seen a truck with the old car style wipers where they meet in the center any pics ??

The extra is for right-hand drive trucks. I've never seen anyone change the wipers around, but it could be a good idea.

Yes, I have a friend that did his that way. There is alittle fab work to get the arms to rotate correctly but they work great.

found that out thumbing through the factory assembly manual. would be interesting the have a European loon wiper setup, but you would have to fab up (or find, good luck) a right hand drive cowl.
