WTT: 71-72 sport mirrors for 68 stem type
I have a brand new set of aftermarket 71-72 sport type mirrors. These have the mounting hardware included with them. I would like to trade for a set of original mirrors that would have come on a 68 C10. The kind with the stems and the small round mirror. They could be a set of really nice originals, or aftermarket. Here are some pictures of mine:

If you decide to sell these, I would like to be first in line. Thank you

You might want to know those shake like the dickens at speed. I did the same thing and went back to those right away.

Do you mean the 68 mirrors shake at speed? And that you switched back to the 71-72 mirrors?

Yep...the aftermarket stalks are very thin...not sure about the originals, but I wouldn't expect clear vision with newer ones. I had the round mirrors instead of the square ones and they shook so bad I couldn't see a thing.

I have one that does a tiny bit but I bought it used and it's nothing like the stalks' vibration.

Re: WTT: 71-72 sport mirrors for 68 stem type
I have the 71-72 sport type mirrors on my truck and the only issue I've had is when the four rivets in the back of the mirror head corrode which allows the head to loosen up and not stay in place.

I have a peep on "Merlot" with no issues at all.
(It is mounted on the door frame, not roof rail)
