Brother and I where discussing about using a bed floor from a 88-98 fleetside and using it on a shortwide 67-72. Is that possible? Has anyone tried it?

Re: Bed floor question?????
My question is "WHY?"
The originals are being repoped now.If you are looking for something custom I can see using a newer one but I doubt it will be much different than an original. Or maybe you have the later bed and are looking for a cheap fix?

Re: Bed floor question?????
i did this. you'll either have to add about 2in to each side or leave that much of the origenal bed there. i had an old 96 bed when i redid my first 72.
