Cleaning Blazer Soft Top ?

Just wondering what you guy recommend for cleaning a soft top? I'm getting it in a deal with a blazer and the top has been stored inside on a shelf. It looks to be in real good shape but is dingy and the windows look haised. Thanks in advance

Jason

Re: Cleaning Blazer Soft Top ?

Soap and water on the fabric and windows.
If windows still hazed after soap and water try a plastic polish with a dual orbit sander/polisher.

I have no experience doing this but I hear Mothers make a pretty good plastic window polish.

What color is the top.If it's white Mother's site say a bleach/water mixture can be used. They warn that the bleach % should be <25%.

Meguiar's is good too.

Re: Cleaning Blazer Soft Top ?

I bought some clear window plastic polish from a boat supply store (West Marine) for one of my soft tops. It worked ok, but didn't make the windows totally clear again. I they make it in a 3 part kit they sold too, but it was more expensive.

Re: Cleaning Blazer Soft Top ?

Thanks guys. I've only seen pics of the top so far. I'm going to missouri to pick everything up this coming weekend. The top is black and looks decent. the black still looks bright or glossy, not faded. But it's dirty from storage. Thanks again, Jason

Dont use paper towel on the glass the wood fiber in it scratches the clear plastic
