Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Yeah, I am living the worst kind of dilema, I am glad I sold it, but driving it, makes me wish I kept it and I am enjoying the wheeling, but scared to "wreck" someone else's ride!! I wanted some "action" shots to remember it by! I hope it is OK in the "COLD" north east, my baby hasn't ever been out of AZ!?

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Engine
400, cam, roller rockers, edelbrock carb/intake, no overheating issues...

2.5 flowmaster 40's, hedman headers

6' superlift witha block in rear.

37x14.5x15 toyo mt's on 12' Mickie Thompsons

energy suspension poly body mounts, almost added 1/2 inch alone.

Hand painted double wall top with interlux fiberglass boat paint, rolled and chased with a brush. painted inside of top with Grey.
th350 with 400 converter and shift kit, 205, custom rear driveline that started out as a homeade job and rebuilt by driveline specialties of portland.

Its a daily driver, tracks true and straight. but gutless off the line with stock 3:07 gears.

Do you think 4:56s would be too low for all around driving without an overdrive?

theres more pics on my member page, I take just as many pics of the Jimmy as of my wife.

Those would be my choice, maybe even 4.88's, but they might be a little low.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

I recently found this website and thought that I would add a few pics of my 71 blazer. I bought it in Aug, it was stock, as well as a different color. Since August I have painted the exterior, new seats, new dash, 6'' lift, sound system, 36'' iroks on 18x9 procomp rockcrawlers. Let me know what you think.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Very nice K5 blazin71! Haven't seen to many trucks with 18"s but that really works nice with that tire size - the rims don't look too big.
