SILVEREAGLE1770, What year is your black pad from? Does it have A/C? The 79/80 pad is different than the 73-78. I need one for a 79 with air. Would perfer a blue one.

They all have provisions for A/C even though his picture shows the trim piece W/O air, but the slots are underneath. The picture also indicates its a 73-80 vintage. The only difference between the 79-80 is the cutout for the VIN.

79-80 only have the hole up front for the VIN plate. the A/C part does not matter. the holes for the ducts are in ALL the pads you just change the trim piece on the front . DAVE

I have a 2 factory 79-80 pads so they will also work in 73-78's . one is that light green :-( and has a crack on the end where it would not be real noticable once installed (far left end ). it is not opening up. it got cracked by accident in the cold . $65 I have a real nice burgandy/red? one. $100 . pics available if you you email my home Email at - all4trux@snip.net . shipping can be salty because of box dimensions. you guys gotta stop worrying about colors ! there are lots of ways to respray/dye them even with spray bombs that can look good.

Call me picky Crossy......but it's my money I'm spending. I will hold out for a blue 79/80 pad or a nice light colored one. I will pass on the black, red, etc. They are not that simple to change to a light color and they will always have that rough oversprayed feel to them if attempted.
