Re: Bought a donor truck today

1970 the heads in the bed came off original engine for the truck. the truck looks to be very solid but hard to tell yet since it was painted recently. the bed looks very good from what I can see I'm going to try to clean it out today and check it out I won't be using it though since I'm building a shortbed. overall not a bad truck for $700

Most of the parts trucks that you guys find are in better shape than the rust buckets that I try to save! Nice find! ...Joe

Nice parts truck, although I have seen people start with their project trucks that were in way worse shape than what you have as a donor. Like me...

Sweet find. Keep us posted with the progress.

Re: Bought a donor truck today

havn't been able to work on it today I'm a little under the weather wish I felt better can't wait to see if I can get it running. I figured even if motor doesn't run good or needs rebuilding truck was still worth it. It would make a nice driver shame what I'm going to do with it,but all its parts will probaly find there way back onto the road.

Re: Bought a donor truck today

Looks like a great truck. Lots of good usable parts. Good luck with your project. Definately should think about becoming a supporting member. I've seen lots of "wanted, long bed" ads lately.
