Edelbrock 1405 manual choke question?

I lucked out and a buddy of mine had a 600cfm setting in the garage. We rebuilt it and mounted it. It runs great with the tuning we did.

The only problem is that it is missing the choke cable bracket.

And also how does the cable hook up? My buddy says the cable just bends through the hole, is this right anyone got pics of one hooked up?

I don't remember what mine had on it, but it was a simple bracket to hold the cable....not unlike what you'd see holding the throttle cable on a Briggs/Stratton mower engine. Check out Edlebrock.com and see what they have. Summit Racing is another resource. Lokar has brackets, too.

Ok I think I have located a bracket, now does the cable just get bent to a Z shape through the hole for the choke flap?
