I had an S-10 years ago that the ground effects were 3" off the ground and I drove the p** out of it and never drug. BUT you have to keep your eyes peeled to miss those roadkills, retreads, and potholes!!!!!!!!!!

here's a pic of the clearance......

nope, a few more shims for the upper "a" arms and we're good. that was a must. I didn't buy those tires to scrub off the inside tread!

and Chris, I don't think I've ever said it, but dam* I love your rig!

Looks great Doug, I would hate to see what you call "a lot" of static drop if what you did is a little! No, really I love your truck and I think you did a hell of a job on it. Love the spot too!

Re: Dropping the bad habit....... with pics.

You've really got her down there now Doug. What a difference from when you first got it. And the move to the plain steelies from the rallys I'm getting used to. It has a sort of low buck driver look going on. Low key if you would call it that. Big thumbs up my friend.
And the stock shocks are not bottoming out?

Re: Dropping the bad habit....... with pics.

Boog,
Thanks my man for the thumbs up. The shocks actually aren't bottoming out, but I don't think they will have a very long life. I am looking at some Tokico drop shocks, which will be my next purchase.

as far as my ideas on the truck, I wanted to go low buck but streetable and reliable.

the next big project is getting rid of the SM465 granny tranny and finding and rebuilding an M21 or M22 rockcrusher. All on a budget!!!!

how 'bout a pic of the start.......

Re: Dropping the bad habit....... with pics.

That looks amazing, very well done.

I didn't think same size tires/ wheels would look good, but you have proven me wrong. Probably what I'll do on my truck now.
