Tailgate help

Hi,

I have a 1969 C-10 custom and right above the tailgate handle there are 2 holes that look like they are for a badge or something they are about an 1/8inch diamater

Can any one please shed some light on this for me

Thanks

Hilly

Re: Tailgate help

By default I know of no emblems that came on the trucks, so you could probably put anything you want to cover the holes.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Tailgate help

I forgot about the handle molding. I guess since you said it was a custom, I figured it did not have any molding trim. Like the other said , if from the factory that way, that is probbly what it is. You have any pictures to show where the holes are?
