info needed 72 gmc
i have a 72 gmc long bed matching number big block truck long bed sierra i want to shorten it. I have a brandnew bed with oak floor and i got a pair of chevy fenders and rad support thinking about going chevy with it got all new trim for the short box someone give me details on the frame cuts and where the cuts go it is a leaf spring truck

So you have an original matching numbers big block GMC Sierra, and you want to cut it up and make a short bed Chevy? IMO you'd be better off keeping it original and lower it.
Have you seen the long beds lowered? s/t
