Hey Guys!!! I have made my bi annual apperance!! HA HA!!
Whats up yall I hope some of the old faces are still here.....lets get to the point. I came for support and help as always....I wrecked ol Rusty about a month and a half ago.....but...was not my fault...check this out..
Driving through downtown San Antonio to get to my job teaching private lessons on saxophone.....out of the corner my eye I see a small black car come out of a parking lot.....over the grass and over the curb..."uh oh hes gonna hit me what the hell is this guy...."BAM right into my front right fender....I couldnt steer the fender was push over the front right tire....I lost control went into on coming lane popped the curb and took down a fence and big steel posts in a parking lot across the street.....ill have pics. I am freaking out I cant see the driver...I get out to check to see if the driver was ok...I couldnt see em from my side....I get to tha car..NO ONE IS IN THE CAR!!!! WTF????? Did they bail??? great. The security guard comes from the lot with another dude..."hey we say everything.....we saw the car ROLL FROM ITS PARKING SPOT INTO TRAFFIC" HOLY CRAP!! The driver forgot to use their parking break.....dumb....waht luck right??? the insurance took full liability...had a rental for a week and a half while they figured out what to do.....so they totaled the truck and I salvaged the title and now I am fixing him up again.....just got so Repop fenders and Rad Support from LMC.....got a straight junk yard hood and now I need a grille and all will be good.... Thats whats been going on with me....whats up with you????

No WAY! It's stressful enough worrying about stupid drivers, let alone ones that aren't even in their car!
Was there any frame damage? It looks like the frame horns had been cut off, I'm guessing it had a roll pan? Did their insurance pay or yours? It's looking good

Dang That sucks sorry about your truck and Im glad to hear you are alright and unharmed BUT I am going to have to say this even if it was my truck that was hit Better the truck than it hitting and killing someone walking by. As we can see our trucks are repairable, looks like you just need to put her back together and start driveing......Welcome back to the board dont forget to get us more pictures when your all done putting it back together....

Re: Hey Guys!!! I have made my bi annual apperance!! HA HA!!
Thanks yall.....hey Palf a familiar face!!!
The other parts are all awaiting sanding and priming..the rad support and grill are Re-Pops from, LMC...I am very very pleased with them, good steel and they came very safe...gonna go and just sand and prime the whole body...not really gonna do any body filler work as I do not have the patience for that....but it will be black primered for a bit until I get the bread to send him to the body shop and paint him.....INCOME RETURN!!!! I am at a week to week basis on him and will have some more pics by next week....for the mean time I get to drive my dads 78 GMC long bed. with A/C!!!! I got a call yesterday from the salvage yard where i got the hood, and rear 67 fenders...and they have a grille assembly for me to pick up....I am super excited...thanks for the kind words guys!!! the power steering gear box is cracked on the front and the truck pulls to the right.....so needs that and alignment.... and yes i am gonna put my roll pan on again....I had to remove it when I banged up the fender corners.. so i will keep yall posted.
