The truck is going back to the shop to get the front up 1 inch, was 2.5 spindles and 1 inch springs but it went down 4.5 instead of 3.5 not sure why but they're sending a new set of springs.

Heres a couple pics, not bad but why the hell does the driver wheel set so far back in the wheel well? I could drive with my other rims but couldn't turn right cause the driver rubbed bad, but could turn left and passenger side tire barely rubbed at all. is something fkd up?

It could be your spindles, it has happened before, but it is pretty rare for it to happen.

Toe on the driver's side must be pretty far out, making that wheel steer out like that.

15" Cragers? I've noticed a few guys using 15's sometimes have problems with the drop spindles causing clearance issues. 70CST was the last to fix it on his truck with 15 rallies.

Its not unusual for the spindles/lca to rub when a truck is dropped when using drop spindles. Sometimes a truck will rub and other times it will not. It is when you turn sharply is when you will notice the rubbing issue.

The wheels moves back,... when you lower it. That's due to the angle of the a-arms.
You just don't notice it until it gets lowered. The Toe might still be a little off also.

ask for a printout of the alignment. IF there is a bunch of negative caster in the left front wheel it will be back in the wheel well. I dropped my 69 with drop spindles, and god knows what springs are in it. Did not have this problem. When we try and align an older car that has been lowered, we will try and get as close to zero degrees CAMBER, and as much POSITIVE caster as we can. Then set the toe to a factory setting. It is not unusal to not get very much positive caster in these trucks. I also like a bit more caster in the right wheel than the left. This will make up for the crown in a road that can make a car/truck drift right
