there is short tale and long tail 400 i took it off my 68 swb with a short tail trans. i replaced it with a long tail 400 and had to make me a drive line to fit.

This may be a dumb question, but where does the spare tire carrier mount? Under the truck or in the bed? My spare tire is a 275/60/15, will that carrier work with this tire size?
