electric vacuum pump..
Whos running an electric vacuum pump for powerbrakes and where did ya mount it? Need ideas on where to put one.

Here's a bump for ya. I'm surprised no one responded. Surely we have some trucks out there that went the fancy route on getting good vacuum.
I'm debating doing the same thing instead of the canister route.

i know it is not an answer to your question but I see more people swapping to a hydro boost setup around here.

Hope this helps, you are not limited as to where to put it. Comes with 4 or 5 feet of hose. Mounts on four isolators.

Once the snow melts and it warms up, I'm going to the salvage yards to find one from a diesel truck. I'll bring a battery and a gauge to measure the vacuum. I want to find a storage canister too!
I did spot one from parts geek at $99, if I can't find a good used one. Hope that helps. |
