Anyone own a stud welder? Questions?

Does anyone here own a stud welder for dent pulling? I'm looking for advice before I purchase one.
What brands are good?
What tools should I get with it?
Other pro's and cons?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the one that Eastwood sells, but can't think if the brand name. Mine is blue and I think they sell a red one too, but I'm not sure what the difference is. It came with a bag of pins (studs) and slide hammer. I haven't used it too much but seems to work pretty good. Sometimes the pins will pop off as you are pulling on them on larger dents, which can be frustrating. It seems to be great for small dents though.

I've got the blue one the Eastwood company sells. Its made by Motor Guard Corp. I believe. I've used mine quite a lot and had pretty good luck with it. Works good for pulling dents in places where you can't get to the backside of the sheetmetal. I've used it where I could get to the backside. I gave about $225 for it if I remember correctly. However the latest Eastwood catalogs I've gotten have it for just over $200. I just got the slide hammer. I made a clamping device out of angle iron to pull multiple pins, and I didn't get the shrink tip though that could come in handy.

I've got one that I bought from Matco Tools. It's supposed to be their top of the line unit complete with slide hammer and shrinking tip.
I used it a little till I figured out what a lousy body man I am and gave up.
I've been thinking about selling it, since I probably won't be using it much anymore if anybody is interested.
What's a fair price?

I have been using mine for about 15 years now. I bought it from Matco tools. I believe it payed for it self by now.

I can't even begin to guess how much I've used my stud welder. I've had it about 10 years. A very useful tool.

Two accessories I would recommend are the T handle, great for hammer work, and the multi pin puller, very good for large creased areas and for pulling on the frame machine.

I am planning a dent pulling video and will cover stud welding techniques.
