will this fit? 18*9" wheel +10mm offset

Sorry for posting another wheel fitment question, but here goes

18*9 w/+10mm offset, truck will be lowered ~4" front and 5" rear.

After hours of searching for a set of wheels for my crew cab I found some that I like but I'm not sure they are going to fit. I think the backspace figures out to be right around 4.5" right? I think they will fit just fine in the front and I figure I could just add a 1" spacer in the rear. Any input?

Hey Adam,... I get 5.39" backspace.
Remember a 9" rim will actually measure 10" from outside edge to outside edge. (the bead surface measures 9")

Thanks for the chart Keith, damn I was hoping those would fit but it doesnt look like they will. They have them in a 17*8" with +10mm offset too, but tire selection sucks for 17" rims.

I may end up just pulling the new style stock HD wheels off my work truck for now and switch to 5 lug later. I can seem to find anything to fit, too bad I really wanted to keep this one ton Thanks again for all the help Keith

They look good. I think they are 16x7's with maybe a 5" backspace. Kinda sucked in,... but will look good lowered.

Nitto Tire makes a good tire for 17's.
255/50-17's or 275/50-17's. Great for 17x8 and 17x9.5 wheels. Just small if you're really thinking 20's. That's why I sold my 17's off the blazer.

I had seen those Nitto tires but would like something just a little bit taller. Looking around some more I have found some 20*9 w/5.0 backspace, I wonder if that would bring the tire too close to the fender?

I think that would be ok on the rear. Too close on the front. A 20x8 with a 5" backspace would work up front.

But I cant find a 20*8 w/5" bs aarrgghhh ha ha. The only thing that looks like its going to fit is an american eagle 114, but I'm not sure what I think of them on a lowered truck

I'm not even sure what I'm looking at anymore, I've searched this forum 100 times and cant seem to find the right info for backspacing, and the tech guys at these companies know less than me most of the time.

any other opinions on a 20x9 with a 5.39 b.s? Looks like some guys here are running 5.5" bs on a 8.5" wheel or am I measuring the wrong way?

The "key" to measuring wheels,... is to remember, that say a 20x9 wheel, will actually measure 10 inches wide. (outside edge to outside edge)
Then you can do the math.

Yeah , I was hoping someone here had a measurement already. My machine shop guy STILL isnt done with the motor and it's going straight from him to get the frame done and I was hoping to have wheels/tires ready for it when it was finished but it's looking like I'm going to have to wait til I get it back so I can measure and guarantee the fit.

Adam,... I don't let anyone measure wheels for me.
I use to use a straight edge and a tape measure. I've since made my own "backspace tool".
I have it drilled for 5x4.75 and 5x5 bolt circles. I then drilled holes for 15", 18" and 20" diameter wheels. Then I made several pieces of threaded rod to used to determine wheel width.
(Remembering to add 1" per wheel width, I use a 8" rod for a 7" rim, 9" rod for 8" rim, and so on)
Then I bolt the BS tool to the rim and thread the "correct rod" into it for the wheel I'm trying to fit. I only measure off the backspace, because that is how wheels are sold. This tool allows me to rotate it 180 degrees to look for interference. (Even turning the front wheels left and right)
The only drawback is it doesn't allow for tire height. But I can figure that out.
I think Jegs sells a tool like this, only nicer, that does allow for tire height.
This thing has save me alot of money from buying the wrong wheels.
