lowered rear suspension
I've got a 70 model swb with the old trac bar setup in the rear and was wondering if anyone could tell the maximum I can get away lowering the rear without interfearing with the trac bar. I've been told 3inches is the max by a guy at cpp. Can anyone tell me if its possible to lower my rear 4inches.

Check with Early Classic Ent. also. I think they told me 3" was max also. I'm not sure if you go lower if the rear just becomes offset to one side of the truck or what. Someone else on here will no more.

It doesn't help that the stocker is not adjustable... I would say 3" is the maximum you should go.
Lowering blocks do not affect the stock track bar. Go after market, not too expensive and easy to install. Last edited by Kayotic; 02-05-2009 at 06:38 PM. |

less work to put in aftermarket adjustable panhard bar on than thaking stock bar out and putting new bushings in
