Many '72 GMC 4x4 'Burbans still around?

Spotted a 1972 GMC 4x4 Suburban for grabs here in western Canada, I don't think there's another in my city (Red Deer, AB.). Says it's a "survivor", no rust 350/4spd. Is/was there lots of these or no?

I've seen that add; it's pearly red and 2wd, don't see many 4x4's though.

i can honestly say that there arnt many 67-72 4x4s up here, as far as i know ther is only 3 trucks up here that are 4x4, that are on the road anyway. which is wierd cause almost every newer truck is a 4x4 where i live. and i dont recall seeing a suburban up here at all.

Re: Many '72 GMC 4x4 'Burbans still around?

hey that red 4x4 your talkin about looks a lot like the truck in your sig

HAHA i have only had that truck out once since i bought it from ya, and im stocking up on parts for more goodies, and im pondering a pretty nice deal on a good shape 57 chev s/b to do a full resto to.

Speaking of 67-72 4x4 burbs, there is a couple running around where i grew up. One of the farmers down the road did one up pretty darn nice, but thats about an hour south of calgary.
