A Arm bushings

I am in the middle of my frontend suspension tear down and I want to replace my old worn out A arm bushings on my doner 1980 setup but I am havin the toughest time gettin the upper and lower shaft nuts to come loose. Anybody have any thoughts?

And a big breaker bar. Make sure the threads are clean on the shafts or they will bind...

If you are talking about the actual shafts that hold them to the vehicle i just did mine on my 70 and i clamped the control arms in a vise and used a big breaker bar and a buddy. They are set to about 90 ftlbs. on the lowers so you figure 20-30 plus years and they get pretty stuck.
