I'm not sure what's up with Ryan. Maybe his friend Matt (brothers69c-10) will chime in and let us know.... I sent Matt a PM. He was on yesterday... LockDoc

Re: Dieselwrencher
I'm still alive. Just been pretty busy and never, I didn't make any, had any extra time to get on the boards a lot lately. This winter at work has kept us busier than any other with crappy fuels and low temperatures. I haven't touched my gas trucks and I am thinking of selling the K10. Too many projects, not enough time or money. LOL

Re: Dieselwrencher
I hear the crappy fuel problem! I had 15 Rear fuel tank school buses that refused to stay running because of fuel filter freezing...at 0! The fuel company assures its additive is good to -10. I told em they miscalculated the amount or never had any in it! Even the 911 additive didnt help!

Re: Dieselwrencher
Being from the South I never knew you had to add additive's to fuel to keep it from freezing. I always assumed gas was good in all temperatures. Learn something new everyday. Thank you!

Re: Dieselwrencher
i know diesel fuel freezes up, have lots of problems getting trucks started in the yard sometimes,
but gasoline freezes up too! they ad in antifreeze in the gas up here in winters, but we have to run extra antifreeze in our snowmobiles and stuff when it gets real cold.. does turn to jelly, turns into ice...much like water..
