Blazer tank fuel filler, with out cutting up the bed.

How many of you guys have done the blazer tank under the bed, with out chopping it up for a fuel filler on the side?

Was thinking about the bed floor, but that'd suck to not be able to fill up while loaded..

Who's done a filler behind the license plate like the older muscle cars?

Man, you brought up a good point, I always have crap in my bed.

I read earlier today that the filler behind the plate wont work because you would be pumping the fuel at an incline.

unless one where to use a metal filler neck that jsut ran up the corner of the bed and had the cap right under the bed rail..?

I've seen a few on here that use it behind the license plate though.

done that. Cut a filler neck off an old in cab tank. I used it with a pipe that the exhaust shop bent for me so I could hook it up at the neck & tank with a short piece of stick hose. I ran the vent hose up into the boxside with a filter on the end of it for a breather. Fuel is a little slow going in, "first catch" on the nozzle deal. I'll try to get some pics of it.
