Re: Drip Rails Finished!

Finally, Got back to working on this project. My shop has kept me busy along with everything else. Got the whole one piece floor in as well as the cab corners and bottom of the a pillars. I bought a firewall, but decided to fab one up instead. Got a good start today on the cowl panel but didn't get it finished.

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

A few more after firewall tacked up. Side panels tomorrow! I plan on using Specialty Power Windows wiper kit. They work GREAT and are neat and compact.

Awesome work!!!

Makes a body wonder whats hiding under all these restored trucks.
The GENERAL never coated the inside of the sheet metal in these trucks...it is just a matter of time before that rust on the bare steel, inside, reaches the outside...LOL! Remember...there is no such thing as a RUST FREE cab!

Great work!

This is creepy, I see two images.

The second one reminds me of th e clown thingy from the SAW movies.
Hmmm.. I don't see Charlie...looks more like Che Guevara to me!

Nice job on the truck!

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

I've always thought these trucks looked SO much cleaner without the goofy drip rails on 'em. Unfortunately they aren't exactly bolt-ons or "bolt-offs" for that matter. Can't wait to see more.

Looks good! What gauge of sheetmetal you using? 18g? Keep up the good work.
