power steering in 1967

Did they offer power steering in 1967? I have looked every where and cant find out if it was or wasnt. The parts stores dont have it listed as an option so I am guessing it wasnt. I was about to do a little truth bending in my new spid label and didnt want to look like I didnt know what I was talking about. Which i obviously dont because I am asking you guys.

This thread might help you a little: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=327334

I am adding PS to mine but will be adding the newer style, with the kit listed as part number 692996 on this page: http://www.gmcpauls.com/steering2.htm

Re: power steering in 1967

I think I have one of them 67 set ups on one of my trucks. We can go look at it when we get those brake lines. Not trying to sell something.
