Exclamation HELP! Need '84 4WD Suburban rear axle housing

HELP! My rear axle housing is toast. I need a rear housing for a 3 series '84 4x4 Chevy Suburban 1/2 ton. Mostly I need just the housing itself, as the internals of mine are either new or rebuilt. A bearing tore up the housing. I'm not sure which years are a direct drop-in, but I do know it needs to be out of a 4x4. I need to have the truck fixed before the snow comes! Does anyone know where I can find one, or perhaps steer me in the right direction? I called all the local boneyards and I already had 2 guys try to sell me the wrong housing (one from a pickup(wrong mounts), and another from a 2WD Suburban).
THANKS!!!!!

Dont have what you need, but am curious, what measurement do you get from the center of one leaf pad to the other ?
And if the truck is original, then it wil have 10 bolt axles. The rear is an 8.5" corp.

I wanna know the spring pad separation distance though.

Truck is all original. I'll have to try and get that measurement. Right now the axle is still on the vehicle, so it might be tricky.
Thanks

FYI, Hollanders shows the following housings will work:
BLAZER/JIMMY (full size) 82 4x4, rear axle
BLAZER/JIMMY (full size) 83-91 rear axle
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 81-83 10 Series; 4x4, rear axle, 10 bolt cover
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 84-88 10 Series; 4x4, rear axle
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 89-91 1500 Series; VIN models "R/V", 4x4, rear axle
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 81-83 1500 Series; 4x4, rear axle, 10 bolt cover
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 84-87 1500 Series; 4x4, rear axle
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 88-91 1500 Series; VIN models "R/V", 4x4, rear axle
SUBURBAN 82-88 10 Series; 4x4, rear axle
SUBURBAN 82-91 1500 Series; 4x4, rear axle

As you see it shows that a truck rear end from the right years will work. What year was the truck housing that someone tried to sell you that did not work?

Thanks for the great info!! This will really help a ton. Some guy tried to sell me a 3/4 ton (12 bolt) housing and another guy had a housing with a different companion flange. So I figured was out of a 2WD.

Again thanks for the info......
