Engine Code Help

OK, so I have pulled the numbers of my block and I can't find what I need to narrow it down.

The numbers on the back are 14093638. This tells me it was used from 86-94 (or 87-95, depending on the book I look at). But where I'm confused is the Engine ID code on the front. It is V0801FSC. This tells me it was made in Flint, Michigan on August 1st. But I can't find the suffix FSC in any reference I have. I have cleaned and cleaned on it and I can't make it out any other way than FSC.
