Power brake booster
Ok after reading this I'm wondering if my new booster is bad.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=182131 I bought a new booster and master cylinder a couple of months ago. When I first crank the truck and put my foot on the brake it whistles at me. This is the only time I have noticed it though. I haven't noticed it doing it once I start driving it.

Re: Power brake booster
It could be, but sometimes putting your foot on the brake causes another, smaller leak to show up. My '69 C-30 ramp truck did the same thing a while back and the whistling was actually coming from a rubber vent cap on the carb that was dry rotted. I would check all of the other vaccum lines before pulling the booster off. How are the brakes actually working?

Re: Power brake booster
The brakes seem fine. It only does this at first startup after that I haven't herd it. I have fuel injection so I will check other vacuum lines also.
