Wrecking yard tour
I was out looking for parts for my 78 Blazer project and was amazed at the number of 67-72 truck in the wrecking yard I was at. I ran out of time(they close early on Saturdays).. Had my new camera with me and I snapped some pics for my dad who is in the middle of a 70 swb drag truck build. he needs a few things. I will guess this is about 1/3-1/4 of there 67-72's they have there (lots more in the back I didn't get to. some are tore up and some have lots of good pieces. I thought I would post the pics so you could have a picture tour. kinda neat seeing all the old "road warrior" bumpers people had.

Re: Wrecking yard tour
thanks for sharing, lots of trucks there that look like they could be brought back.not to hijack the thread.but my wife and i were going thru a junk yard one day,and she said just think if these cars, trucks could talk the stories they could tell.
she was saying it would be cool to make a video of those cars and trucks and make story bout each one. as if they were talking bout their days on the roads of life. |

Re: Wrecking yard tour
I probably looked at 50-65 1973-1987 chevy trucks for parts I need. I took these pics while doing so. If you look at this picture, I circled the area I went through today, you can see how much is left

Cool yard. It looks like they sell an awful lot of hoods there.

Re: Wrecking yard tour
One man's "wrecking yard" is another man's Gold mine. You are so fortunate. Whenever the price of scrap metal goes up, more good stuff goes the way of the dinosaur.Cnut
