Question Intake gasket install question

Today I am working on my 67 C20. It has a 1977 350 in it, with an earlier stock spreadbore intake (to get rid of the EGR valve from the 77). I am trying to replace my intake gaskets. I bought a fel-pro set and it is tore down and ready to install.
My question is do I use those metal plates to partially block off the heat crossover? Or do I leave them out? Thanks in advance, ED67C20

Re: Intake gasket install question

Last time I did this I blocked them.
