AOD and a straight 6

Has anyone done it? How do you like it. I have been thinking of doing it to mine. 200r4 or the 700r4. I was leaning more toward the 200r4 due to the gear spacing being a little closer together.

Was thinking of doing it to mine.

But since I currently have the Powerglide thats working fine will have to wait until it groaks out me before making this swap.

Too many $$ invested in body work at this point.

Re: AOD and a straight 6

Bump for some information...

I currently have a Powerglide behind my 250I6 and have to say that I'm truly amazed. Don't document me on this as I have only filled up twice so far (so only 1 road trip), but my 250/powerslide combo got 21MPG!!!!!

I will not be changing this setup for quite sometime.

Someone I know has the 2004R behind a 250. Very nice combo in my opinion. I think his has the standard 3:73 rear. Definitely not a power monster but a very liveable everyday type machine.
