can someone ID this suspension?

Anyone know who makes this? Or is it homemade?

Defiantly looks homemade to me. Also doesn't look very trustworthy! The mounting tabs and bars just look way to thin.

Yea, I agree. Maybe good enough for a Toyota 4 cyl. That's why I'm wondering what's missing if it's a manufactured kit.

Re: can someone ID this suspension?

That set up is an older version of a Chassis Engineering Ladder Bar kit with coil overs. Similar to this current one:
http://chassisengineering.com/shopDe...ProductId=1393

I buddy of mine used that older set up back in the early 90's to pro street a camaro. The "coil overs" were just regular shocks with brackets top and bottom to hold the spring around the shock. Not a true treaded body coil over. It hooked up well for him.

Re: can someone ID this suspension?

You should be able to find a ladder bar set up for less the $350 with the coilovers. I installed that setup in a freinds prostreet 1990 chevy
