I need a quick answer because im gonna try to get some today before the salvage yard closes
What kind of jeep are they off of? |

Leafs were used on CJ's from 41-86.
Leafs were also used on YJ's from 87-95, but they are a bit wider than the CJ's. Coil springs have been used ever since. Since there is no pic, I just thought I would post this info. |

97-up Jeeps (TJ Wranglers) have coils. There was no model built in 96.

is that for a drop or lift i think he wants to go lower and i cant seeing anyone dropping a jeep

They are lift springs, Not sure they would work on a 1/2 ton truck. My Jeep CJ 5 is rated at 1/4 ton

I've got stock rear TJ Coils in the rear of my '71 SWB.
Since it didn't have any in it when I got it (sitting on helpers), I would guess it dorpped it a couple of inches. I had a buddy who ran an old set of my '71 Cutlass coils in the rear of his '68 LWB and it dropped it probably 2 to 3 inches. Last edited by 71C10SWB; 04-03-2009 at 06:58 AM. |
