I thought the 50th's were painted white along the bottom of the fenders doors and bed and only came as a long bed??....
No worries...the 50th guys will be here shortly to correct me!!!

Re: what makes a 1968 50th
The only real way to tell as far as I know is to check the SPID for the 515 Ivory and Gold paint code.
They came in long, short, burbs, and even vans.

Re: what makes a 1968 50th
no badges
could be had on any truck... 1/2 ton 3/4 ton step side, van, 2 wheel drive, 4X4, short or long wheel base, el camino, burb... anything. If the SPID is missing, then you'll have to look for the 2 tone seat, or, a gold dash pad and visors. |

yes, we have an ex-member of the site in Chicago with one. It lookes pretty lame, no 2 tone paint or anything special... I may have a photo of it, I 'll check when I get home.

Re: what makes a 1968 50th
couple more... and some seat shots. I personally prefer the vinal over the cloth on these... esp on buddy buckets

Re: what makes a 1968 50th
Not well I'm runnin' over 450 hp on street tires ran a 10 flat spinnin the whole 1/8 mile . Don't know how much you know about racing but the 2.74 60ft. time I had is proof of how much it was spinnin' . Should run in the low 8's if I get it hooked . I was having fun so it didn't matter Also Not to hijack but I started a 50th club . If you go to your user cp page and click on social groups and sign up if ya got a 50th !!! Bob

At least I beat someone in the 60' -- mine was 2.5 sec . I am getting some Nitto drag radials before I go down next month.

One 50th I've never seen is a SWB 4x4. Anyone ever seen one or have a picture?
