Gear Calculator Help
I've just spent the first week tooling around in my new rig, a 72 3/4 ton Suburban, Curious about my rear gears. I have a TH400, running 2600 rpm at 55 mph, tires are 265/75-16.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: Gear Calculator Help
2600 is VERY low... esp for a 3/4 ton. 3.54 in a dana is what it should have come with, but even then, that sounds a bit low for that even.

Re: Gear Calculator Help

Re: Gear Calculator Help
So I have only done that once, remind me. By memory: I turn the tire two complete turns and count the revolutions of the drive shaft???
