You better check! I have a picture folder named "Bit`s & Pieces" with nice automotive tidbits.I opened it up to see if I ever saved pics of mine and that picture was the first one.I figured,"Not mine, but good enough for me."
I really have a pair...honest!Do I owe you royalties? Thanks for making it easy. I was so excited to get my fenders from Randy aka Teeitup,true`67 GMC Customs...one of a kind. The whole truck will be 100% rustfree used GM factory sheetmetal.
thanks,Bill. My motivation isn`t(wasn`t) to actually move ahead with the resto*.The goal is to get it all on one foot print so I can move it if needed.I have the short 4wd to do the same.I need to pull that to the frame and install axles, springs, motor, transmission, transfer case, cab, clip, and bed so it is one footprint.I may have to stash these.I just don`t want to loose what I have if I end up not being able to keep my house at the other end of my divorce.I syre wish that was happening whenI wasn`t so finacially crippled from this recession.I`m stubborn and won`t let anything stop these builds.I`ve given up enough,Galdingit!!!

*Not opposed to forward progress, either.I just doubt much will show for awhile.Where I`m at is finishing out the drivetrain and getting sheetmetal stripped and sealed.

That's too funny Special K! No problem on the pic! Use it as much as you want. That's why I posted it for all to see.

Hey Tim that Pogo Stick didn't have anything to do with the shoulder injury?

Hope your feeling better, I just had some minor surgery, and the worst part is the way they starve you before.

Nice parts stash too.

Are you kidding?I`m the pogo king!!!
I hurt it right after eating a big burrito with chopped raw onions y muy caliente, tombien.I went in at 9pm with a fully belly, although a bit upset.Something about a part of you dislocating seems to have that effect. The onions gave me serious cotton mouth. They wouldn`t let me even have water. Finally, the love of my life...I mean my nurse...got me some ice chips and I only had three.I wanted water so bad.Just to swash it around and spit it out would have been heaven(especially if she was sitting on my bed).

Re: Poor Boy is more than a rolling frame

Well, baby steps are better than none.I had stripped the cab to metal and primed it in fall '09.I'll show pictures I took as soon as I get back onto Photobucket after my absence from the computer kingdom.Meanwhile....
This summer with more time than money (still),I went at the bottom with wire wheels, discs, and elbow grease.Man,what a little soda-blasting can do in short order sure is a lot of work. Here are the results before (trying Imageshack.com for the first time) I primed and painted. No fancy expensive Por-15 or anything, just two coats of Rustoleum Rust Stop and two more of satin black paint:

Re: Poor Boy is more than a rolling frame

I showed a wheel picture and it was ginormous yesterday, now teeny pics.It/s like trying to get the points on the high spot on the distributor shaft, only harder...for me.

Anyone notice anything odd about this cab?

There's a bunch of metal where the rust is supposed to be.

Re: Poor Boy is more than a rolling frame

HAH!! Eagle Eye Leon strikes again! When the guy in CA pulled this cab that piece just fell out. Some slacker at Freemont never tacked it in!Now this slacker forgot to before painting. Paint jib is definitely very touch-upable.I didn't quite forget.Just wanted to keep moving on getting the thing coated and mounted up.
