Re: Millermatic Locker
I had a '64 ford truck 9" rear with welded spiders....it was fun, the inside tire would "chirp, chirp, chirp" around corners, I was in high school and it was cool to cruise around Sonic.....one day I had the driver's tire and wheel pass me on the highway, broke all 5 wheel studs and took off
![]() it is lots of stress on the rear end parts

Re: Millermatic Locker
This is popular with the offroad guys, but i wouldn't recommend it for a street driven vehicle. Bad things could happen at 60mph when pieces start fly around and get jammed into the ring and pinion.

Re: Millermatic Locker
I have run "hillbilly lockers" in both ends of my rockcrawler for 18 years, with no problems ever. I drove it everyday till the motor crapped out. If its done right, it will last forever. Its hard on tires, but a goodtime at sonic....
