Anybvody know what this wire is? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Sorry, no pics right now. maybe someone can help me just from the description. When I removed my heater/A.C. controls behind it there was a red wire with a square black connector. It looked like about a # 10. Any guesses where this used to be connected?

Hmmm, as I type I wonder if it is a power wire the P.O. ran for his C.B. radio. I'll have to check into that.

that wire is for the cig. lighter. Thats how it is on my 68 anyway
