Exclamation Tilt column on eBay (not mine) - warning!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300307115630

Was just in contact with the guy selling the column above. It's clearly a van column (wrong neutral safety switch position, flat connector, etc.) but he's selling it as a bolt-in truck column. When I pointed it out to him and asked him to update the description, he said this:
Its off a 1972 chevy motor home truck. but it is the smae as a 1969-1972 chevy pickup you just have to buy an adaptor and move the neutral safety switch. Never easy to do. I dont think they would be disappointed at all.
With bids approaching $200, clearly people don't see that it's not a truck column, and with him calling it a "bolt in and go, tilt conversion" I guarantee someone will be disappointed and I hate to see that happen to a fellow truck owner (or anyone else). Maybe if more people contact him, he'll see the error of his ways.

It's still there. Looks like the board software broke my link when I posted it -- turned the & symbol in the URL into the equivalent HTML code instead. Do a search for item # 300307115630 or use this link: http://tinyurl.com/tiltcol

This link worked fine! Glad you are looking out for all the board members. At least the guy could post ?'s about your concerns. Bolt in not! Love the original factor he claims.

well it could be out of a motor home,i got one in the garage.(its not a van) they are the same length and will bolt in perfect after you move the safty switch, and install the floor seals, and buy a 9.00 wire adapter from the dealer, so its only a half lie...lol thanks for the headup
