Bucket Seats
I'd like to see pics of everyone's bucket seats. They don't have to be buddy buckets, just anything that would work in a 72'. I'm going to replace my bench seat and was wondering what I could use. Are there any out there that won't work? I was looking at the newer model GTO seats...

Re: Bucket Seats
Most likely any seats will work, if you're handy enough with fabricating brackets to make them fit at the right height, position, etc. Personal opinion is if you're going to upgrade, go with a mid-90's or newer 60/40 split bench, maybe with the fold down center console. Just one opinion. I'm sure whatever you do will look nice.

Re: Bucket Seats
I went old-school and used buckets/console from a 1970 Chevy motorhome. They don't adjust and aren't as comfortable as the newer ones, but they look good.

Re: Bucket Seats
Something about late model seats in an old ride screams Jerry rigged to me, if you like it then do it, but to me it just looks a little scabbed together, I would rather see a good vintage seat that shows a little wear than a late model seat anyday....But thats just my opinion.

Re: Bucket Seats
Those do look comfortable, and for alot of people would be considered an upgrade...for me they just do not "fit" the vehicle. I am by no means saying they look bad, just not what I would want in mine.
