68 Transfer case mount help

I am trying to install my mounting bracket from the xfer case to the frame, and I am having trouble making sure it is right. Does anyone have a good picture of how their mount is set up, just as long as it is just like mine (stock). Oh, and my xfer case is the original T-221 Rockwell.

I tried putting it together according to the assembly manual I have, but it won't go together with the bracket on the frame. It's like the rubber and the single dual hole washer is to thick? Plus, mine originally had two very large washers and they are not depicted in the manual?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Chris

Re: 68 Transfer case mount help

Don't know if it's much help, but I just installed my transfer case...used a new set of bushings/sleeves from Energy Suspension...I pressed the new bushings into the bracket by hand...loosely bolted the bracket to the frame so I could slide things around a bit to get it lined up...had to manuever the t-case around a bit as well...got the t-case bolts started, then went to tightening everything up.

Re: 68 Transfer case mount help

Yea, I got a pry bar and persuaded the bolt holes to line up on the xfer case bracket. But, the frame side bracket holes dont line up - yet. I am gonna let it sit like that for a while and see if the rubber compresses a little more in order for the holes to line up.
