Need Headers Advice!!!
The headers on my '72 collect down low and as a result, the exhaust is way too close too the ground. i need some headers that collect just behind the engine. Any suggestions as to what I should get? Thanks!

With my BB, I used a set of Headman Headers for a 'Velle. They don't hang near as low as a set for trucks.

My truck is lowered 4-1/2" in the front and 4 in the back (soon to be 5-1/2". Those Dynamax headers are quite a bit higher than mine. I may go for a set like most street rodders use, that don't go down more than a few inches below the heads. Thanks for the pics and advice.

If your motor is in the 6 cylinder position, you should be able to use the Heddman 67-72 4x4 headers with excellent results. The collectors are below the top of the frame but above the bottom. I don't think they will work with the motor in the 2x4 position, but it would be close.

Mine hung down alot lower than that, ended up taking them off.
There are some available that are shorty headers. Collect up closer to the engine block..............
