Rear end swap

If I pull the rearend out of a 69 and swap in the rearend out of a 67 will all my brake lines and cables on the 69 just screw right in to the 67 rear without any modifications?

Re: Rear end swap

The brake cables are the same.. My brain is a bit foggy on the brake line fittings.. not sure if the 2WD 67 and 69 have the same little "tab" on the axle tube for the "T" fitting. why cant yours be a 4X4? then I would know the answer.. LOL

Re: Rear end swap

To my knowledge there the same, If not you should be able to swap out any differences. The 70's up were wider and would make the steel lines different(longer) but I think the rubber line all hooked up on the pass side with 3/16 line and 3/8 nuts.

Should swap with no issues.
