Re: 67 SWB 6 cyl cruiser
I bought the entire dash panel from Ed off Ebay. The original truck had only idiot lights, and I wanted a little more, since the engine was rebuilt.
When I shoot the final pictures I will show it lit by the Blue lights in it. Looks cool. |

Looks great and I love the fact that you kept the "6".
Did I miss a name change somewhere along the line? Last edited by low'n slow; 05-16-2009 at 09:35 PM. |

Re: 67 SWB 6 cyl cruiser
I like that you kept the six in it, and it looks great by the way. Is it a 230 or 250? What kind of mileage are you getting with it?

Re: 67 SWB 6 cyl cruiser
Conroe trucker... excellent work on this build. I have referred to the pics on a regular basis.
Would you be able to provide paint codes for the motor/air cleaner/manifold...? I am planning on pulling my 250 for a rebuild/repaint, and would liek to have this information for a reference.

Re: 67 SWB 6 cyl cruiser
Thanks for all the comments!
Although I called it finished a quick update to let everyone know the 3 Speed manual Over drive worked like a champ. I modified it to be able to drop out the OD at any time with a switch, and it motors down the road very smoothly. With all the sound deadening and the quiet 6, it is hard to hear it running. First show in Conroe it picked up a Best of Class, People's Choice, and Conroe Cruizer's Choice. Now to finish the 67 SWB 4x4...........
