Re: if i upgrade my Intake Manifold ?

I don't know what your building but that is a single plane intake that performs in the 2500-6500 RPM range. That would be great for a serious drag car with low gears but all wrong for a street truck that needs low RPM torque.

What are you building? What are your needs?

Re: if i upgrade my Intake Manifold ?

Are you putting that intake on a stock motor? If you're putting it on a stock motor it will be a dog below about 3500 RPMs.

As far as the changeover, you'll need the manifold that fits your carb, or get an adapter. Otherwise it'll be just unbolt and change everything over and of coarse new gaskets for whatever you take apart. If you have the stock 4bbl carb you need an intake for a spreadbore carb. if it's an edelbrock or a holley (95% of them) you want a squarebore intake.

dotn forget the gasket maker that goes onto theintake bolts...

Yes , I think the "Edelbrock Performer" is an awesome choice for any street driven truck , Idle to 4500 RPM for torque. had3 different SBC's with them , worked Great , awesome for towing too...

Don't forget about Carb base gasket , thermostat gasket , silcone the ends of the block and don't use the end gaskets they give you..

Re: if i upgrade my Intake Manifold ?

If your using that intake, you might as well get the cam to match it.

Something in the 274 duration or bigger, but then youll need a set of gears, stall converter etc. and it will just keep escalating.

For your intake bolts, just use the white pipe/thread sealant, it's like teflon tape in liquid state.
