My Friend has a 72 blazer that the prior owner WELDED the steering wheel on. as you might expect he is going to change this column. What years and models will exchange? ....................Thanks 71 Big Red.

67/72 will be a direct bolt in except some early ones had a 1 piece shaft some vans will work but you have to modify them

There may be a difference in the wiring harness plug on some. I put a junk yard column in my '71 and the plug was different. Not sure what the deal was on that??? Anyone know?

Thanks Bob, we will chesk plugs prior to purchase, thats something I would not have considered. 71 Big Red

Replacement turn signal switches were made with the later connector plug,and then they made up adapters to connect the new style with the old. Adapters are available, so if you find a column that you really like with the newer style plug on it then there is an option for you.

Otherwise changing connectors can be accomplished with a little work.
