jeep fan mount depth

I am redy to put an electric fan on my 69 so began researching past threads about which works best. i really like the jeep setup but never saw a depth measurement in those threads. i only have about 3.5" from my radiator to pump pulley bolts. also dont have a shroud yet. so, after all that, my questions are 1, will the jeep fan fit that, and 2, best place to find shroud. thanks in advance..

The jeep fan is an easy setup. I just finished putting it in my 69. You need the shroud, and I can't remember how much space I have from the radiator to the water pump pulley, I will have to take some measurements tonight when I get home if you still need them.

Re: jeep fan mount depth

I went from the stock solid non-flex fan, to a flex fan and that made a big difference. Just recently I went to a fan clutch and that made a WORLD of difference!!! Do you really think I would notice another huge difference if I went electric?

Re: jeep fan mount depth

it should be quieter. I doubt the difference would be HUGE though...
